The Old Town, with its narrow cobblestone streets, pastel-colored houses, and wooden balconies, showcases Tbilisi’s rich past. Landmarks like the 13th-century Metekhi Church, the sulfur baths in Abanotubani, and the towering Narikala Fortress provide stunning views and a glimpse into the city’s history. The Bridge of Peace, a modern glass-and-steel structure, beautifully contrasts with the historical surroundings. The city center is also a hub of Georgian cuisine, offering local delicacies like khinkali (dumplings) and khachapuri (cheese-filled bread). Nightlife thrives here, with rooftop bars, wine cellars, and live music venues offering entertainment. Tbilisi’s charm lies in its fusion of old and new, with Soviet-era architecture standing alongside sleek modern developments. Whether wandering through charming streets, enjoying the hospitality, or exploring cultural treasures, the city center captures the essence of Georgia’s capital.
