This was my second visit to the Kadimgabela branch, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. We arrived a bit late for dinner, so the place was relatively empty, which actually made the environment even more enjoyable. It’s a cozy, family-friendly restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly, though not particularly attentive or active. The food, however, was quite good—definitely on the pricier side, but if you’re visiting occasionally, it’s worth it. The flavors were rich and the dishes were delicious, so I would recommend it, especially if you’re a fan of meat-based meals. One thing to note is the service time—it may take a while for your food to arrive, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. Also, there’s a 10% service fee added to the bill. The location is a bit inconvenient, as you can’t easily get a cab right at the entrance. So, plan your transportation accordingly. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a quality meal in a nice setting—just be ready for a little waiting and a slightly tricky location.

Qadım Gabala is a well known restaurant chain in Baku, most famous for its sabat ribs baked in tandir (tandoor) oven. It has amazing texture, sour sauce and softness. A must go if you want to taste sabat as their master dish, and for many years it did not go up in price, 65 AZN enough to feed 4-5 persons. Had a banquet here, so expect 45AZN per person for standard cold snacks, qutab, sabat or kebab and tea (without alcohol and sweets). Considering inflation, that it still an adequate price. Good thing they allow bringing own cake and alcohol. Service is very good and attentive. Did not lie on the bill. Recommended.

What an experience. The lamb ribs had this so tasty sauce on it. Not sweet like American BBQ but rather a slightly sour note. The service was top notch with very attentive wait staff.

the traditional restaurant for those, whi want try the real Qabala cuisine of the highest quality. The restau is simple and looks a bit 'cheap', but not let your first impression to stop you: the food is truly great, the service is friendly and respectful, the experience is to stay for may years.
