One the most authentic bars in Baku. This bar has carefully curated and crafted the best drinks with top quality alcohol. It also has a very good food selection that won’t leave you hungry. Not only the atmosphere but the workers are all very nice and kind. They are always helpful and will do anything to make your experience the best. My personal favorite is truffle beef burger which is possibly the best in Baku.

In a city where “good drink” often means “loud drink,” Bitter feels like a rebuttal: precise, deliberate, and quietly confident. If you care about balance, temperature, dilution, the kind of details that separate a mixed beverage from a cocktail, this place is the current high-water mark in Baku. Inside, the room glows in low amber light against dark wood and leather. It’s modern mid-century in spirit and warmth, stylish without trying too hard. Seating is varied - booths, sofa tables, bar seats and on busy nights it turns into the best kind of lively: people standing, mingling, and actually enjoying themselves. The terrace is genuinely cozy even when it’s cold. And then there are the cocktails: hands down the best in Baku. The Negroni selection deserves its own paragraph (clarified and house versions included), and the martinis are borderline doctrinal: mostly dry, sometimes dirty if that’s your thing, and the house martinis are nuclear in the best way: bracing, precise, and dangerously easy to love. The “fancy” martini service is a must, not a gimmick. Food keeps pace, which is where many cocktail bars quietly fail. Bitter’s menu is seasonal and genuinely good: fresh oysters, an Oyster Rockefeller that understands the line between indulgent and heavy, duck croquettes that disappear faster than politeness, and a truffle burger that earns its swagger. The kitchen has pride without ego embodied by their chef Aykhan, attentive, engaged, and sincerely interested in feedback. Service lands in the sweet spot: friendly without slipping into excessive familiarity , warm without performance. Murad, our waiter, has a rare knack for narration describing options vividly, reading the table, and guiding without steering. Come with friends, come alone; either way you’re treated like you belong. Bitter is the kind of place that makes you recalibrate what you thought was possible in Baku after dark: not just a night out, but a night out executed with craft. You come for the cocktails. You stay because everything else, the vibe, the music, the food, the service refuses to be an afterthought.

Best cocktail bar in Baku w amazing food as well! Been many times already, in love w this place My favorite drinks are the house negroni, white negroni, martini (get the fancy service), eye-talian shandy, grown up dr pepper, and many others!! From food - also everything is absolutely amazing! (Both healthy options like salads to amazing burgers) and best oysters in town

Best bar and restaurant in Baku. A true hidden gem for foodies and cocktail lovers. Bitter is the kind of modern bar and eatery that instantly pulls you in with creative craft cocktails, quality ingredients, and bold flavors served in a space that feels both intimate and electric. From their signature espresso martini to perfectly balanced small plates, everything is crafted with care. Its a rare place for baku where the quality is prioritized over everything else. Whether you’re after late-night drinks, a romantic dinner, or just a cool spot in Baku to unwind with friends, Bitter nails the atmosphere, taste, and vibe.

A Place with Heart Absolutely loved Bitter! It’s the kind of bar and restaurant that gets everything right, beautiful atmosphere, creative cocktails, and fresh, flavorful dishes made from high quality ingredients. Every detail feels thought-l through, from the music to the lighting. We came for dinner and drinks and ended up staying much longer, the vibe is warm, stylish, and effortless. If you’re looking for a romantic date spot or a hidden gem in Baku for a night out with friends, Bitter is easily the best bar and eatery in town.

Wonderful bar in central Baku. The staff is very attentive and gives you drink suggestions if it’s your first time. The atmosphere was great. Friday-Saturday you need to reserve a table, but we sat at the bar and it was wonderful vibe. Highly recommend

First time in Baku and this was the only place happening. Food and drinks are top notch. Met the owner, Samir, such a great guy. Him and his crew really care about the service. Well done gents!
