May be one of the most underrated places i have visited given the local food delicacies were lipsmacking good. Definitely try shah pilaf and Dolma with some potato wedges. I loved every bit of my time. Thank you so much.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing, flavorful food at reasonable prices! We discovered Hokka Mokka thanks to one of their friendly staff members holding out a menu on the street, and it was definitely worth the visit. While the service was a bit slow and we had to wait longer than expected for our food, the overall experience was great. The atmosphere and taste made up for the wait, and we’ll definitely be coming back for more!

The three of us were looking for a place with live music and we cams upon this jewel in the main street. We sat for a dinner that was amazing, the food was just delicious. The service was delightful and waiters were very warm, polite and helpful. The thing that blew me away was the music, the singer in particular. He was incredible! They let us choose some songs even and I couldn't be happier! That singer deserves a raise!! 😉 😁 🤗

A burst of global flavors in every bite! Hokka Makka surprises with a creative fusion menu and vibrant presentation. Whether you’re in the mood for Indian spice, Mediterranean freshness, or something unique, this spot delivers beautifully. The vibe is lively, and the staff genuinely care about your experience.

We were walking in the street , and a guy came and introduced the restaurant. And we decided to go for a light dinner… and it was a good choice. Ordered beef Tushonka With potatoes and I can’t remember the other dish name. But they brought without cheese topping… when we were eating that, they brought again the dish with cheese topping. The beef dish was little bit salty, but it was manageable with bread & potatoes. The staff were very friendly… specially the manager. He was checking on us regularly. There were live music also. will visit again…

The ambience and taste of food was great but the quantity was very less. Mutton pieces in all the dishes were scanty. The service was also not great. They give you full attention at the beginning, but once your order is placed nobody will come to your table.

We had dinner today at Hokka Mokka on Nizami Street. The ambiance of the place is cozy and pleasant, making it a nice spot to relax in the evening. We ordered the grilled vegetable salad, chichek casserole, lula kebab, and ended the meal with a chocolate lava cake. The food quality was good overall, but not exceptional. Flavors were decent, but didn’t quite stand out as memorable. Portion sizes were noticeably small compared to expectations, which was a bit disappointing for a main course dinner. The service was also on the slower side, with a longer wait time than usual for both the food and bill. It's a decent place to visit if you're in the area and want to try something different, but there is definitely room for improvement in terms of portion size and service speed.

I initially wanted to eat at Caravan, but staff standing nearby with menus led me to Hokka Mokka instead — I mistakenly thought they worked for Caravan. That tactic already felt a bit misleading. Inside, the place was nice, the waiter was polite, and the food (steak with fries) was decent. I had a beer and an iced coffee, and later agreed to try shisha — offered by the staff, not requested by me. The man handling the shisha was very professional and attentive, making sure everything worked properly and checking in to see if I was satisfied. But then came the shock: a bill for 110 manats — for one person! I expected around 30–40. The shisha alone cost 50 manats, and no one mentioned the price beforehand. That’s simply not fair. I feel misled and taken advantage of. It’s a shame, because the food and service were otherwise fine. But this one detail — not being honest about the shisha price — ruined the whole experience for me. I won’t return.
