I had the “Spartak” cake, which is a delicious dessert with very smooth chocolate honey layers and crème anglaise. Tried their “Napoleon”, a cake with tender puff pastry and airy crème anglaise and vanilla sauce. The chocolate fondue was to die and rich chocolate with the fresh fruits was nothing short of heavenly. Waffle is amazing with dark chocolate. Atmosphere is also good. But the waiter didn’t ask me about tea. He brought the whole kettle.

Local branch of a Ukrainian chain of chocolatiers. A wide selection of chocolates are available over the counter and you can also sit in. Diverse dessert menu, the usual suspects of waffles, ice creams and milkshakes are available. Quality of the dessert is above average, better than most places in Baku. Would definitely recommend a visit if you want to satisfy your chocolate cravings.

THE worst Dubai cheesecake i have ever tried in Baku. The chocolate part of it was edible but the “dubai” part just tastes like plastic, as if they took raw kataifi pastry, added green food dye instead of pistachio paste and called it a day. Very disappointing considering the price. The staff was nice tho. Overall 4/10
