We were fasting the first day of ramadan and We tried this restaurant today, halal food ,right in the heart of the capital, and it was a wonderful experience. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, including delicious local specialties like piti, dolma, and an impressive selection of desserts such as kunafa and Turkish baklava. Everything was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of authentic flavor. The service was attentive and friendly, which made our visit even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, with nice vibes and very clean surroundings. The kebab and the steak also was good with fresh meat . Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy great food in the center of the city!

Our tour group stopped here for lunch and the food was delicious! We did a buffet-style meal that included one protein, one starch, soup, small salad and a drink for only 20 AZN. And they even gave us hot tea afterwards. Wow what a great deal! The small round meat item that my wife chose was our favorite (I don’t know the name, sorry!) Staff was very efficient and everyone spoke at least some English. Credit cards accepted.

I had an amazing dinner with my friend at Matbakh! The food was absolutely delicious, the tea was so tasty, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The service from Abdul and Olga was outstanding — they were so kind and attentive. We really enjoyed our evening and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
