I’m sitting in a restaurant called Mr. & Mrs. Desi Eatery, I just had their Daal Makhni with chapati and salad. The customer service was excellent. The girl serving me is from Afghanistan her name is Sanam, her attitude was so good that she truly deserves a generous tip. The place is clean, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the Daal Makhni was especially delicious. I ate four rotis. I highly recommend this restaurant. The food is excellent and the prices are very reasonable.

Food was good. I tried biryani and butter chicken. Service is great. Staff is accommodating for giving me half meal as i was solo travelling. Otherwise it's expensive in other restaurants in the street as they are not willing to do half portion.

If you are looking for authentic Indian flavors in Baku, Mr. and Mrs. Coffee on Nizami Street is an absolute must-visit. While the name suggests a cafe, it is easily one of the best spots in the city for genuine Indian cuisine. The Tea & Coffee: This was the highlight for me. After trying many places, the tea here finally hit the mark. It tasted exactly like the tea back home—perfectly brewed and comforting.

EASY TO FIND NATIVE DISHES Cafe is at great location & they have plenty of great options for breakfast and lunch. We had a great time. Recommended for those who’re searching for Indian snacks with authentic taste.

Had a good dining experience at Mr and Mrs. The food was great and portion size is generous. Service was good and quick. While the overall ambience is great, the seating space is limited and it feels a little congested. The location is amazing as it is right on the Nizami Street, with the lively street vibes. I reduced 1 star because they accept only cash and not cards. As a tourist, carrying so much of cash makes it a bit difficult. The price is a little on the higher side, but not crazy expensive. Overall, the food was good and the place looks clean & cozy. Definitely worth trying.

We ordered butter naan with chicken tikka masala and chicken fried rice. We clearly mentioned twice not to add coriander leaves or cumin seeds, but coriander leaves were added to all items anyway. On top of that, disposable cutlery was missing. Very disappointing experience, especially when special instructions are ignored. Hope the restaurant pays more attention to customer requests in the future.

Our experience at this restaurant was disappointing. We ordered vegetable hot and sour soup and chicken corn soup, but neither was enjoyable. The vegetable hot and sour soup tasted strongly of onions and lacked thickness; it felt more like thin, dark water with vegetables at the bottom. The chicken corn soup also had an unusual chicken smell that was hard to tolerate. The atmosphere was another downside, as it didn’t feel very family-friendly and was quite loud with people singing.
