The restaurant is located beside the Caspian Sea, close to the Baku eyes, and it is on the second floor of the building, therefore, the scenery is very good. However, the table beside the window needs to be booked in advance. If walk-in can only sit inside. The taste is good and the price is suitable. This meal shows as photo totaliy is 98.18 AZN. If you're traveling to Baku, this restaurant is definitely worth a try.

Riviera is one of those places my family and I always find ourselves coming back to—usually three or four times a year—and for good reason. Located in a beautiful spot with a stunning view of the city, it offers a setting that’s hard to beat, especially if you’re looking to enjoy a nice meal while soaking in the skyline. The staff at Riviera are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. The service is consistent, and the atmosphere feels warm and inviting whether you’re there for a casual dinner or a special occasion. As for the food, while it may not be the absolute best in Baku, it’s definitely very good. I would especially recommend trying their chicken dishes—they’re a standout. The salads are fresh and satisfying as well. Overall, the food quality pairs well with the ambiance, making it a solid dining experience. Keep in mind that prices are a little above average, but considering the beautiful views and the overall experience, it’s well worth it. If you’re planning to go for dinner, make sure to reserve in advance—without a reservation, finding a spot can be nearly impossible. Riviera also offers banquet halls, which are great for hosting birthdays or small-scale celebrations. Just like dinner reservations, you’ll need to book ahead for those too. One of the things I love is that they have plenty of different rooms, and during summer, the outdoor seating is a must-try with its amazing atmosphere. All in all, Riviera is a great place to enjoy a meal with family, take in the view, and just unwind. I would definitely recommend it.

Very nice place with excellent view specially at night. It's just across boulaward so with lights view is amazing. Food is good though service may be bit slow. Reason could be we sat on first floor and their kitchen on second floor... I am just guessing. Such a fine dining restaurant still they do not have all English speaking staff is a bit of concern. Decor and seating arrangement is excellent.

Amazing views and food. We had a big breakfast 🥞 and it was very tasty. A lot of vegetarian options. Not so expensive (for Germany incomes) and had a lot of sitting space, at 3 levels. You sea the whole city line and the sea. Nice big clean washrooms and some parking in the front too.

I really liked the service and the atmosphere of this place. The staff were attentive and the space felt comfortable and well-designed. The food was good — not over the top, but definitely enjoyable and nicely prepared. Overall, a pleasant experience and worth visiting.

I always strive to write very honest reviews. Every year, I visit Baku and dine at this restaurant. The view is amazing, but the service is extremely poor. We ordered ice cream first because the weather was so hot, but we waited for more than 25 minutes. It’s incredible! We also ordered pizza and French fries, and the fries arrived very late as well. This kind of service decreases your value. Now, I don’t want to come back because I visit to relax, not to get frustrated. Even as the years go by, I don’t see any improvement. Instead of improving and changing, the service keeps getting worse. Sorry, but while your food isn’t bad, your service team negates all the positives.

Beautiful view, but terrible food and service. We ordered nuggets and fries for our child and were served soggy, overcooked fries. The waiter was polite, but the manager (Ali) was dismissive and defensive, insisting “we don’t have bad food” instead of listening. Even after replacing the fries, he kept arguing rather than acknowledging the issue. Very disappointing experience.

The business lunch menu states that tea and dessert cost 5 AZN; however, I was informed that the dessert is not included.
