Best Place Baku Restaurant & Jazz Club

I arrived in town earlier in the day and felt like experiencing some music and I found this excellent restaurant. I find the local food quite bland but the quality was ok. The atmosphere was great. The jazz singer was enchanting. The jazz pianist was extremely versatile and improvised well.

Literally the best place to have breakfast. I haven't been in Jazz nights (yet), but the breakfast is amazing... Especially during the spring/summer season, view in balcony is amazing! Portions are great and the menu is various, you won't leave hungry!

What a stunning place. My very 1st visit was a blaster. Head to toe everything was amazing. Staff is kind, place is great. Reserve your table for a jazz night. New York wind 🇺🇸 in the Old Town İçəri Şəhər.

We had an amazing time! Booking tickets online was easy, and the venue was charming. The music was phenomenal, and we enjoyed the popular semi-sweet wine. Dinner was fantastic, and I highly recommend this place for any jazz lover. I had a wonderful time with my sister, and the staff was incredibly helpful with great recommendations.

Nice place. We went for a dinner and jazz evening. Food was good overall. I would say beef sac was certainly better than lamb. We enjoyed our evening here.

Average restaurant in Icharishahar. Locates in "Boyuk Gala" street, near to Baku photography house. The interior seems cosy, but the tables are so near to each other. This made it uncomfortable for me. I went for breakfast and sat on a terrace on a sunny day. Service was good, and stuff was friendly. Breakfast didn't have a lot of choices compared to similar restaurants, tho it was nice. However, the terrace was so small, but had a good view into "Boyuk Gala street"

I visited this jazz club in Baku and, unfortunately, was extremely disappointed. The information about the minimum charge of 30 AZN per guest was indeed mentioned on iTicket, so I checked the menu in advance to avoid any surprises. However, when I arrived and ordered the items I had chosen beforehand, I was simply told “we don’t have that” — without any apology or suggestion of alternatives. It felt as if missing items were the norm rather than an exception. When I tried to clarify the situation on my way out, the receptionist first claimed that “everything was available,” then changed her statement to “everything except those two items,” speaking in a dismissive and disrespectful tone, interrupting me and refusing to listen. I also witnessed a group of tourists spending nearly 40 minutes disputing their bill, clearly stressed and dissatisfied. This kind of atmosphere is far from what one expects when visiting a jazz club. Overall, the experience was very disappointing: poor organization, inconsistency between the advertised menu and reality, and a lack of respect for guests. I do not recommend visiting this place.

Yesterday we ordered a cheese platter and wine at this place. The first cheese platter had a very unpleasant smell and taste, similar to a dirty kitchen cloth, which immediately raised concerns. My friend even felt nauseous while we were still at the venue. We asked for the plate to be replaced. The second cheese platter was normal, however the cheeses in the first one were extremely dry, which made the situation even more questionable. After returning home, I felt very unwell and ended up vomiting. This experience seriously affected my trust in the food quality and hygiene standards of this place. I would strongly recommend more attention to food safety and freshness.
